Hello

I'm Emily Gable

I am passionate about sharing my healing space and skills.

Having had many traumas in my own body and trying almost every modality under the sun, I am happy to share the tools that have worked the most effectively for me throughout my healing journey.

Massage therapy, medicinal aromatherapy, fascial maneuvers, Yamuna® foot fitness and Classical Pilates, are all at the forefront of my offerings. I have a feeling there is something that will be of benefit to you!

I look forward to serving you!

About

Emily's Story

Emily came to the wonderful world of healing arts after a very roundabout path that included severely broken bones and an ischemic stroke, all in her early 20s. As luck would have it that, with the help of friends, she dislocated and broke her right ankle while in college in Boston, and spiral fractured her right humerus while living in Prescott, AZ (all within a few years). She was pregnant with her second child in 2008 when she had a stroke. Her daughter was not even a year and a half old and she was pregnant living in Maine. Emily spent a month in the hospital and recovered "unassisted" (medical term used by the doctors) while experiencing medical trauma, misdiagnosis, and abuse the entire time. She knew she had to get out of the hospital so she could to learn how to be in her body again- swallow, walk, find balance.

Emily's healing journey really began after her baby was born (totally healthy) a few months after having the stroke. She had an infant and a 1 1/2 year old that she could not carry while walking. Her balance and stability was virtually non-existent. She found an amazing teacher who had been referred as someone to go to for private yoga lessons, but instead she introduced Emily to the practice of Yamuna® Body Rolling. She learned what it felt like to be in her body again. The balls gave feedback and support and slowly she grew stronger and more stable in her body. She felt so strongly about the profound ability of the Yamuna® work to help one return to balance and alignment that she began going to NYC for more understanding and learn to how to teach the work.

She first learned Yamuna® Foot Fitness from Yamuna Zake and saw the amazing results people were having, almost immediately! Her long forgotten about (despite constant pain) broken and healed ankle completely shifted and she began experiencing relief instead of pain from this injury. Emily completed all of the body rolling certifications she could possibly make work while having two little kids. One of the most profound experiences she had at one training was during a deep dive into TMJ (temporomandibular joint) release. Emily had been a clenching her teeth in her sleep for most of her life. After learning that work and practicing it she no longer woke up in pain and realized her clenching had stopped.

After teaching and working with clients one-on-one and in groups with Yamuna® work for a few years while living in Mexico, Emily moved back to the US and attended massage school in Chadds Ford. She has been a PA state licensed massage therapist since 2017. Emily is a certified classical Mat pilates instructor. She completed a Kundalini Yoga teacher training program with Guru Singh and Brett Larkin through Uplifted Yoga in 2021. She trained with the Human Garage in 2024 and is a certified Fascial Maneuvers Coach.

With Emily

What to expect when you work with me

Experience

I know there is not one modality that speaks to everyone. With that in mind, I have an array of tools I use when working with clients.

I have seen a lot of successful stories with my offerings. I am happy to have a conversation with you to suggest what offerings may work well for you.

Minimal Conversation

In a bodywork session, I will not speak to you unless you speak to me. I will occasionally be checking in with you about your comfort- pressure, temperature and position.

Otherwise it is your time to find inner stillness while you relax and unwind.

Keep the good feelings going!

If you are wanting to keep the good feelings going, I am happy to give you some exercises or ideas to think about for your body between sessions.

I have a deep toolbox to draw from with endless ideas and suggestions.

No Tipping necessary

My prices reflect my value. I do not expect a tip.

The biggest compliment is you returning for another session!

Drink plenty of water

Hydration, especially after bodywork, is very important! I will provide you with a big glass of water after your session. Please continue to drink lots of water the rest of the day!
